This project explores a "security-first" approach, advocating that organizations prioritize robust risk management over sheer migration speed. Key strategies include: Assessing existing security frameworks, Employing zero-trust architectures, Ensuring data encryption across transit and storage stages. With an emphasis on understanding potential security challenges—such as data breaches, unauthorized access, and compliance violations—this approach aims to equip stakeholders with tools to anticipate and address risks before they arise. The discussion from real-world case studies underscores the importance of incorporating security measures early in the planning phases to prevent costly, reactive fixes post-migration. Moreover, the analysis highlights the role of collaborative governance and a clear understanding of shared security responsibilities between cloud providers and enterprises.
