Ensuring Reliable Data Access and Loss Prevention in Big Data Cloud Platforms
Abstract
In the era of Big Data, cloud platforms are increasingly becoming the backbone for data storage and processing. Ensuring reliable data access and preventing data loss in such environments is critical for businesses relying on data-driven operations. This paper discusses key mechanisms for ensuring data integrity, availability, and security within cloud platforms. It explores strategies such as redundant data storage, disaster recovery, encryption, and real-time monitoring to mitigate risks associated with data loss. Furthermore, it examines the role of emerging technologies like blockchain and AI in enhancing data access reliability and protection. The findings provide a framework for organizations to implement effective measures that balance performance, cost, and security in cloud-based Big Data systems.
